CRDC Establishes New Positon
CLINTON, IA – The Clinton Regional Development Corporation announced today that it is seeking applicants for a new Vice President – Existing Industry position.
The search for a new vice president quickly followed last Friday’s announcement that the CRDC’s “Vision 2020” funding initiative has exceeded its goal by more than eight percent.
According to President & CEO Mike Kirchhoff, “We are excited about the community support that exceeding our goal represents. Given the momentum the Vision 2020 program has generated, we want to move forward quickly on key initiatives of the program.”
Adding an existing industry specialist to the CRDC team is the number one goal within Vision 2020’s top priority – existing industry retention and expansion. This newly established, full-time position will be primarily responsible for industrial expansion and retention projects, workforce development, and related activities.
The position will be advertised in local publications and also through national and regional economic development organizations. A copy of the position description and posting are available on the CRDC’s website, clintondevelopment.com. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply through June 5.
