January – May

Annual Eagle Watch (first Saturday in January)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Thomson Park Rangers, U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Clinton Community College co-host a special Eagle Watch Day during peak season on the upper Mississippi at Lock and Dam 13. www.missriver.org

Clinton Community College/KWQC-TV 6 B-rrry Scurry (First Saturday in February)
A Four-mile run/walk highlights include a wonderful spread of free food at the Goodie Garage following the race, free post-race party, door prizes Dutch Daysand specially-designed medals to the winners in 12 age categories.

Dutch Days (first weekend in May)
Fulton Dutch heritage is celebrated by wearing wooden shoes and authentic costumes, Klompen dancing, street scrubbing and a parade. www.cityoffulton.us

June – September

Art In The Park (Saturday prior to Father's Day)
Shop at the best art fair on the river, featuring over 100 juried artists representing the very best of the Midwest and beyond! Held on the riverfront in spectacular Riverview Park. www.clintonartinthepark.comBalloons in June

Balloons in June (weekend after Father's Day)
Held at the Clinton Municipal Airport, Balloons in Jun is a spectacular annual event where beautiful hot air balloons glow at night and ascend to take flight during the day. Games and activities for children. www.balloonsinjune.us

Clinton Riverboat Days (Fourth of July holiday)
Iowa's LARGEST "Fourth-of-July" Festival® annually brings several big days of family attractions and concerts for one low admission price! Headline country & rock stars entertain each evening on the main stage. Professional shows, events and activities, including an annual fireworks display. Held on 30 acres of Clinton's beautiful Riverview Park. www.riverboatdays.org

Camanche Days (Second weekend in August)
Going strong for more than 20 years, this local festival features fairgrounds, complete with local musical talent, a carnival, car show, softball and golf tournaments, and the Camanche Classic Run/Walk. The festival, held at Platt Park in Camanche, IA closes with an annual fireworks display.

Miss Flame Festival & Pageant (first weekend in August)
This local fair held in downtown Albany, Illinois includes, fireworks, a parade and the crowing of Miss Spark and Miss Flame.

Thomson Melon DaysThomson Melon Days (Labor Day Weekend)
Thomson, IL holds this annual festival to showcase their community as the "Melon Capitol of the World." Several tournaments are held including softball, horseshoes, and mud volley ball, as well as a variety of activities for all ages.

October – December

Fulton Fall Festival (second weekend in October)
Early American Crafters and other historical groups take us back in time as they recreate history in the mid-1800's in historic Downtown Fulton. www.cityoffulton.us

Symphony of Lights (Thanksgiving Day through December 30)
This 1.1-mile Christmas lighting extravaganza is set on the hillsides of Eagle Point Park, located off Hwy. 67 north of Clinton. Includes over 300,000 lights in 10 major displays. The display is kicked off by a 5K Run/Walk where participants can view the light display before it is open to the public. www.symphonyoflights.org

Fulton Hometown Christmas Walk (weekend after the first Friday in December)
Enjoy a soup supper, window displays with live actors, windmill tours, caroling, horse and wagon rides and Christmas crafts for kids. Also, enjoy the Sounds of Christmas at Heritage Canyon. www.cityoffulton.us

Symphony of Lights (New Year's Eve Event)
Held at the beautiful scenic Lodge at Eagle Point Park in Clinton, IA , this event features dancing to a live band, food, libations, corsages for the ladies, boutonnieres for the gentlemen, a memento picture of attendees and a follow-up continental breakfast, all for one price. www.symphonyoflights.org
