CLINTON — Genesis Health System and Mercy Medical Center recently announced a partnership to provide more access to primary care doctors for residents of the greater Clinton area.

The newly formed Mercy Medical Group will provide residents of Clinton County and Whiteside and Carroll counties with an expanded network of physicians and health care professionals.

The City of Clinton Tuesday was awarded a $2.7 million TIGER IV grant to help completely reconstruct 1.77 miles of Camanche Avenue from South Fourth Street to 14th Avenue South.
