The Greater Clinton Region is one of the largest per capita manufacturing centers in the nation. We have a long history of successful manufacturing operations in metals, food products, paper materials, and plastics.

Manufacturing is the largest industry sector in the region, representing 38% of regional earnings in 2013. More than one in five workers in the Clinton Region is employed by a manufacturing company.

The region’s multimodal transportation options complement the legacy of manufacturing strength. The Clinton Executive Airport, rail service, the Mississippi River port system, and a network of highways offer easy access to markets worldwide. The region is within a five-hour truck drive of Milwaukee, St. Louis, Des Moines, Indianapolis, and Omaha.
